Overview
Wiser Projects is a planning and development company on Vancouver Island, and NewByld Developments is a licensed residential builder in Greater Victoria. Together they guide infill and custom home projects from the first idea through planning approvals, design, financing and construction. They needed a shared identity that would make the partnership feel like one seamless service, so clients could choose planning, building or both without worrying about who handles what.
We shaped the work around the path from plan to finished home. Line drawings sketched over photography show a property moving from idea to building, with families, kids and dogs in the picture, and we wrote Building Better Living as the line that carries it all.
The Wiser x NewByld mark joins both names with a hand-drawn pink x, set in Neue Haas Grotesk with handwritten accents on a palette of black, deep green and pink. We designed and built buildingbetterliving.ca in Framer as a one-page site that walks visitors through project types and starting points. From there we carried the co-brand identity into personalized business cards, jobsite signage and magazine ad concepts, digital ads and a 30-second animated ad for the big screen at Star Cinema.
The result is one clear brand for two companies, giving homeowners and investors a simple place to start, whatever stage their project is at.
